We are a Private billing practice but do offer bulk billing for certain groups of patients.

Here at Albert Street medical our doctors believe in providing the highest quality of patient care without compromise. Successive Federal Governments have frozen your Medicare rebate or only increased it marginally; all while costs are continuously increasing, as is seen across our economy. Thus, we are unable to continue providing the highest levels of services depending only on government funding, and we refuse to compromise on quality. We are a small, locally owned business, and we can no longer afford to absorb this cost if we want to keep our doors open. Thus, have made the decision to private bill to maintain the high-quality patient care.
Fees
Albert Street Medical is a mixed billing practice. Bulk billing is available for Pension Card Holders and children under 16. Discounts may be available to Concession Card Holders. Please present your Medicare Card before each consultation.
Some of our GPs offer specialised consultations such as skin checks, skin cancer surgeries, Iron infusions, implanon removal & insertion, and some minor surgical procedures. These visits may attract a higher fee and out-of-pocket cost than standard consultations. Please ask reception for more details.

We accept major credit cards and electronic payment methods. Due to the additional transaction fees charged by banking institutions, we need to make a surcharge for these.
